Mutton Bustin’ is open to boys and girls ages 4–7, 55 lbs or less. Each entry includes one child admission (adult ticket not included—must be purchased separately). This is not a competition—there is no winner. Every child receives a rodeo goodie bag. Helmet required. Please bring your own.

Kids Dummy Roping Competition - FREE
The Gold Country Pro Rodeo Kids Dummy Roping Competition takes place at the Official Rodeo Kickoff at Auburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (1901 Grass Valley Hwy, Auburn) on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Contestants must be 12 or younger and checked in by 5:45 PM. Kids will be placed into four divisions by skill level and compete for prizes.
